CURIOSITY

Gridley City Hall

Gridley, KS | Coffey County

No goosing in Gridley! Because of the many incidents of goosing in Gridley, city leaders in 1911 passed an ordinance against it. The Gridley ordinance is thought to be the only town in the nation to outlaw the practice. The city council's original minutes and the published ordinance can be seen at City Hall.
