Yellow twine painted on the sidewalks leads you up and down Wisconsin (U.S. 24) past store windows featuring art masterpieces with one common denominator'twine! Artist Cher Heller Olson's spoofs are worth seeing. For example, the Mona Lisa is holding a ball of twine, as is the woman in Olson's version of An American Gothic. More than 20 'twine' paintings cheerily decorate downtown.
