Republican River Pegram Truss Bridge

Rice, KS | Cloud County

You can cross the Republican River on an 1893 Pegram iron truss bridge. Constructed for the Junction City and Fort Kearney Railroad, the bridge was utilized for the county road system after the railroad ceased operation. North of this bridge is yet another abandoned railroad bridge.
