GRAIN ELEVATOR

Dalton Elevator

St. George, KS | Pottawatomie County

The tall concrete elevator was built in 1915 by William Dalton. Adjacent, the two eight-sided wooden silos constructed in the 1920s to store grain are the last standing wooden silos of this type in the state. All three structures have long since been abandoned.
