This outstanding red-brick with limestone trim courthouse is a 1908 Romanesque Revival hybrid, the work of well-known architect George Washburn. The interior detail has much to appreciate. For example, the 1x1-inch lobby floor tiles have each been individually laid! Another point of amazement is the courtroom, with a fireplace! (NRHP)
