VETERANS MEMORIAL

Veterans Memorial Park

One of the most comprehensive and moving veterans memorials in the state, it features numerous bronze sculptures and separate recognition for WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Pearl Harbor, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Merchant Marines, U.S. Submarine, USS Wichita, Operation Freedom, and Gold Star Mothers. The John Stevens Pavilion displays 13 flags with the history of each.
