While you're in the cemetery, look for the outhouse on the west side near the row of trees. This type of outhouse, built with cement pads, a metal roof, and good ventilation, resulted from a project spearheaded by Eleanor Roosevelt to help fight typhoid fever through better sanitation. The outhouses became a New Deal project, and because of the First Lady's role, they became known as the 'Eleanor,' and the nickname stuck.
