Cannonball Green

Greensburg's namesake was a colorful Cannonball Green, who ran a stage line connecting the railroad to towns across southwest Kansas and who helped found the town of Greensburg in 1886. Find out more about this exuberant character on the historical marker in the rest area on the north side of the highway.
